Style Consultation

  • Miss Frou Frou will meet all clients for one (1) initial consultation.  Additional consultations are chargeable at $75.00 + GST per hour.
  • Consultations are available by appointment only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9am and 5pm and on Saturday mornings from 9am and 12pm.

Confirmation of Hire: 

  • Miss Frou Frou will reply to all enquiries within 48 hours by email or phone.  Following our consultation a quote will be forwarded incorporating all the fabulous items you would like for your event.  Acceptance of a Miss Frou Frou quote is confirmation of your order.

Hire Period:

  • The hire period shall commence at the time the order leaves the premises of Miss Frou Frou and shall terminate once the order has been returned to Miss Frou Frou by the hirer, their representative or collected by Miss Frou Frou. Pick up and drop off times will be outlined in the final quote.

Payment: 

  • 25% non refundable deposit is required once acceptance of a quote has been received. Full Payment is required 14 Days prior to the hire period commencement. An Invoice will be sent which will include all payment details.  Bank Deposit is our accepted form of payment.  06 0869 0319691 00 please use your name in the reference.
  • Any Debt Recovery costs will be payable in full by the ‘Hirer’

Alterations & Cancellations:

  • The client may cancel their order at any time.  Please Note:  25% deposit is non-refundable prior to 14 days before the event.
  • Orders and inventory numbers may be changed up until 14 days prior to the event date. Any changes after this date can be made however there will be no reduction of payment based on the 14 day deadline and invoices.
  • If the entire order is cancelled for any reason less than 14 days before the event, no refund will be given.

Covid Policy:

  • We understand the need to postpone or cancel your event in uncertain times.  

Damage and Loss:

  • All hire items become the responsibility of the hirer, during the hire period.  Any loss or damage will be charged to the client.  The hirer shall take proper and reasonable care of the equipment. In the event of breakage or non-return, the hirer is liable for the replacement value of the goods.

Item Condition:

  • Miss Frou Frou pride ourselves on hiring unique fabulous items.  Some of these items are often vintage and hired regularly, and will be supplied in clean ‘as used’ condition.  All orders are carefully checked when packed.  It is the hirers responsibility to check the order upon receipt and notify Miss Frou Frou of any discrepancies and or damages between the items supplied and the items ordered.  Complaints made after the return of items will not be considered.
  • All product is to be returned clean and in a state for re-hire. Any items not in a fit state for re-hire may incur a cleaning fee.  

Item Collection and Return:

  • In consultation with our clients, collection and return times will be arranged. Please Note- Miss Frou Frou will not be liable for any delays in prearranged times caused by circumstances beyond our control or late courier deliveries.
  • Collection – Your hire items can be collected by appointment only from Miss Frou Frou headquarters.
  • Return – Your hire items (including all packaging) are to be returned at the conclusion of your hire and within the prearranged timeframe.
  • Delivery – Miss Frou Frou is happy to deliver and collect your items.  The hirer shall incur the quoted delivery and collection costs.
  • Courier – Miss Frou Frou is more than happy to courier your items to you.  Courier costs are calculated and on charged once the hire has been confirmed.

Item Cleaning and Packaging: 

  • All items must be returned cleaned and in a state for re-hire in the original packaging provided. Any items not in a fit state for re-hire may incur an additional cleaning fee.
  • Glassware – Glassware is to be rinsed and stored upright in trays provided.
  • Cutlery – Cutlery is to be rinsed and repacked into supplied containers.  Please ensure that no food scraps are left on cutlery.
  • Tableware – Plates are to be rinsed and repacked into supplied containers.  Please ensure that no food scraps are left on plates.
  • Linen – Napkins and tablecloths are to be packed into supplied containers.  Please ensure that no food scraps are left amongst the linen.
  • Vases – Please remove all oasis from the vessel and repack into supplied containers.
  • Candles – Candles used in lanterns, votives, candlesticks or other vessels that are not supplied by Miss Frou Frou may result in additional cleaning costs for the item hired.  We do encourage our clients to wait for the candle wax to set before removing and packaging the item.
